mohan...LET'S GIVE A STANDING "O"....FOR O'SULLIVAN...

predicted recession this year...wonder how much j.p. morgan pays him for economic forecasts...probably what tippet reads..cast him to the same dung pile as barton biggs, fleckenstein, et al...

even mr greenspan's predictions were off by 30-40%...

read once where econometric models oft times more wrong than right.....shepardson admits having gotten it wrong for so long..and hopes expectations closer to reality....whose reality?.. a relative term...talk to a crack addict, learn his/her (pc enuff for chuzz) perception of reality..

had a neighbor who was an economist for chase...brilliant man..couldn't figure out how to start a lawn mower...but could he crunch numbers.....his wife left him when he impaled himself on a screwdriver, attempting to open a paint can...

"warmer temperatures boost retail sales..."...astonishing..why not open up more k-marts in brazil...or equatorial africa...can't keep them people inside..

"economists models miss the increase in workers productivity"....can we once and for all admit that technology is the reason...or is that the arcana of nature...

too educated to work at burger king...too far removed to understand what occurs daily in the real world..

world is flat, for when they view the horizon, they see the edge....

took them a while to realize that fields no longer plowed with oxen....believed increased farm productivity was due to the implementation of daylight savings time...

oh...the silly get sillier...thanks for the voices of reason on this thread...perhaps we are the out of synch ones!!!!...keep on posting mo-man..... ed a.
