Looks like the margin requirement at Waterhouse is less the $20000 base Dreyfus requires.

You can usually reach the trading desk pretty quickly, so that's not a problem with them. Their commissions are less than Waterhouse...about half when paying the online price. The problem is their website does not offer any real time quotes (until you place a trade), so its a hassle to check RT quotes with other sources (I like to double check quotes with two sources before trading).

Naked puts have a risk capped to the exercise price of the put less the premium (if stock goes to zero), it is not as bad as the unlimited risk of a naked call.
