He knew he blew it when he was asking the jury to take a good look at him and ask themselves if he looked like a murderer. Reportedly none of them would make eye contact with him. He took this as a sign of trouble and asked the judge if he could fire himself during the deliberations. The judge just told him its a little late for that. He can probably have a real attorney appeal on grounds of a miss trial.

Betty, I'm against abortion but I like Kevorkian. When you have lost the will to live why burden your family? If found terminal I'd take the easy way out rather than drain what would become my wife's assets. I'd make damn sure first. A drug would be better than pulling the trigger, or so I feel.
