Stock Watcher, at Friday's close: LZMCF+25%; UCMP+19%; VXCH+10%; WCAP+14%; SNMM+9%...

Please, note the steady progress of UCMP, which I recommend for the Index. Recommended at 3 7/8, it closed today at 5 1/16. Short term target: $11/12. Also ZSUN would be agreat addition, since it has now entered into its trading range before the next jump.

Perhaps, you should also consider including WCAP among the core stocks, since it is now clearly being recognized as an excellent growth stock.

Regards, F. Goelo + + +

Survey Finds 32% of Fortune 500 Web Sites Do Not Offer Online Customer Communication

[the impetus, in some way...behind MSTG on the move?]

SAN FRANCISCO (March 26) BUSINESS WIRE -March 26, 1999--Recognizing e-mail as the killer application of the Web -- one that is inexpensive yet allows for personalization and one-to-one marketing -- a growing number of online businesses are producing customized content and creating dialogues with their customers. However, a surprising number of Fortune 500 companies are noticeably absent from this trend.

Fabrik Communications, Inc., an e-mail-based direct marketing services company, researched Fortune 500 company Web sites and analyzed their tools for online communication, such as reply type and duration. An astounding 32% of these sites do not offer e-mail or Web forms to support online customer communication.

Many sites are unable or unprepared to respond to inbound customer contact via e-mail or Web forms. By neglecting or delaying customer responses, companies miss the opportunity to create stronger customer relationships -- the critical element for effective online customer communication programs. -- 64% of the Fortune 500 Web sites surveyed do not provide an e-mail option for customers. Of the 36% that have e-mail, 46% did not respond. -- 53% of the Fortune 500 Web sites did not have Web forms for customer data collection. Of the 47% that have forms, 45% either bounced or did not respond.
