I would like to believe the Korean banks are as up to snuff as they claim.

But since these were the same banks that were unwilling to maintain proper oversight of their banking risk in the first place, I would like to see some third party confirmation.

They have too much incentive to stretch the truth.

On the other hand, they have relatively fewer legacy based systems with code patched together all the way back to the '70s and '80s.

Would you be willing to transfer all of your money to a Korean Bank based on their claims of compliancy???
