I am certain - we all are certain - that under those bib overalls was a silk thong, one of Gianni Versace's last personal favors. Think of it this way. This isn't about your esteem as a housekeeper. This is an ideological gauntlet for CW's young lady friend - and as such a thoughtful, well-planned exercise in maternal love by you. If she's in any way put off - something valuable has been learned. I wonder if I've just jeopardized my status as Default Chick.

Well you have my sympathy(except for the part about being glad she is a democrat what exactly does that mean). Ask for some notice next time....like a months. Everytime my family wants to get together they want to come to my house. Why do they do that to me. I am the one with three cats. What did I ever do to them that they want to come to my house. It is such a chore. One time I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the saltillo tiles in the kitchen while also scrubbing the cabinets and the dish washer and the oven as I passed by....on my hands and knees. Do you think I had a good time at that get together....I think not!!
