bgr...re: "pop" markets are inherently cyclical...can't do anything they haven't done before...your grasping a basic which assures profit...don't need black-scholes...picking up intuitively of something not so normal..you can beat the options traders at their game...with, you got it my friend..."patience"...the "pros" panic...causing gyrations...and after the panic...confusion settles in until "they" can see a clear direction...catch the wave before the "volatilty apex"...usually worth a few points...works both directions...get on before it swells(calls)...break off before it crashes(puts)...and as mark our cpa guy said to arthur...there always will be another wave...much luck, ed a.

BGR or EDAMO - could one of you explain the term "implied volatility" and what the meaning of the 85 and 55 is? One more thing if I might, what are FOTM LEAPS? (I know that leaps are long term options, but not sure where to find all that may be out there). Thanks very much. Jeff Smith
