Buckley
why are you retiring from daytrading ?

First of all only JP calls be BUCKLEY - If you want to join his club - FINE.

Basically - I have a new Job where I will have to work in the day. I have learned so much and I make money now - Not much - about $3k this year - That is good when mnost of my trades are in the $1200 - $1800 range and nothing is kept more than a few days - RRSP is a complete different strategy. I lost in 1998 - mostly early 1998 - broke ven the last 4 months.

Just takes experience. Noone ever makes money without losing a good deal of it along the way also. Somebody who tells me they never lose daytrading is Full of SH*** because it is impossible to trade every day and not lose. Minimizing the amount and the number of times is what makes the difference. this thread has straaight shooters - we post our losses and gains - No Bullshitters here - Some of those US threads are the most complete BS ever printed in cyberspace - just old Kirby vacuum cleaner salesmane, telemarketing sweatshop OTC people who managed to bum enough money on the street to buy a puter

I will never be able to keep up but I sure hope to join again in 2-5 years -
