Lawrence, OK. I should have made it "there simply is not adequate demand for available desktop storage capacity". I believe I have been citing increased areal density as fundamental negative for DD companies (RDRT, APM, KMAG in particular but all in general) absent desktop demand for potential capacity for, what, well over a year now. As for Maxtor, you're right. I hadn't looked at it since the secondary. Shame on me. BTW, finished "Eat the Rich" sometime ago. Enjoyed it and thanks for the recommendation. Yogi
