Hi, I know this guy that works at CPQ and he told me that CPQ is going to be a sponsor for the 2000 Olympics. I think that they are going to send out hats and t-shirts. That is good news for CPQ.

Howie: He (Mcnamee) reported that there is no reason for concern in the PC sector. This seasonal slow down happens every 1st quarter, as well as the summertime. For some reason the street and investors are prepared for the weak summer months but the March quarter weakness comes as a surprise every year.

Probably because when all the PC makers report their December quarter numbers, they don't give analysts proper guidance for the March quarter. Then again, maybe for "some reason" the PC makers don't get it about the March quarter either. However, now that we've all gotten the word from this guy, maybe next year will be different.
