Greg,

Even though many people are talking about QUALCOMM, there wasn't even a word about the deal in BARRON'S for March 29 - one of the key financial journals, published by Dow Jones. Why? The answer may be related to a past history of playing down Q accomplishments. I can remember when they published an article that assured readers that CDMA would never work, and what's more, would never compete with either TDMA or GSM. They have also printed comments that play down the earnings potential, always one-sided, always negative, giving short sellers a field day. One must be curious as to why a rather good quality journal seems to dispense with evenhanded coverage on this stock. Art Bechhoefer
