Gary,

Intel has been making some "questionable" information available about:

1. Celeron vs PII value (Essentially the same piece of silicon)
2. PIII clock speed (1 GHz demos)
3. Internet performance on PIII
4. Merced status

You will have to evaluate their comments for yourself. I see an alarming pattern here.

There is one thing I am curious about. You take remarks(or
opinions) from AMD, Samsung, The Register etc. as if they
are always right but at the same time dismiss any remark
from Intel.
