Yousef,

It is true that Fuchi "added nothing" to the Intel FUD. I wish the same could be said for everyone else on the thread.

Yousef,
"Doesn't make me miss Fuchi ... He was one of the true "idiots" on this
thread. Added nothing and consumed "bandwidth""

Are you always so mean spirited? Fuchi was a great guy. Really a visionary. He saw the information appliance age coming years ago. So what if he misjudged Cyrix's ability to deliver. It's attitudes like yours that cause people to pick on you should you make a mistake.
You and a few others just taunted him.
As far as what I know about loose design rules. You know I know I'm treading on water. I do know that the looser the design rules the better the yields, or so you and others have taught me. Basically, it seems to be the same with any manufacturing process. The harder you make it to manufacture something the less yield you have. It's not just a matter of designing something, it has to manufacturable.
So if Intel can get 80% yields, the design must be easier to make than AMDs 60% (or so they say), not to mention they know the process better.
If I'm wrong please correct me.
