While Chancery Lane L.P. has the same address as BGF, I have not been able to find any proof that BGF has any ownership interest in CAIS Internet. It is quite possible that Chancery Lane is attached to another entity associated with Ammon or it may be owned by him directly. The following excerpts are from pages 50 and 55 of the CAIS S-1:

While many our focusing on the public and private investments BGF has made surrounding the Internet, just as importantly our the businesses it is currently running on the Web under the BGF corp. directly. For instance go look at SpotData an open architecture Web based solution for advertising, media, and retail companies to utilize and simplify the billing and tracking of Ad $$'s. Also much of BGF's Digital Services business exploit the Web.
