What will happen if the states don't agree to accept Bills settlement offer? And the fact that he's now willing to settle does not put Bill in an adventageous position.

Mark -- for the overall market, liquidity is everything because it drives momentum -- and for AMZN etc. limited supply is the high octane added ingredient. Some people think October proved you should always buy the dips. But what October really proved was, with enough liquidity, anything is possible -- even pulling the world financial system out of a nose dive cum death spiral. The rate of M2 growth has been cut in half, money is flowing out of stocks (mutual funds), bond money is flowing to Japan, real interest rates are rising as more corporate paper comes to market, and stock money is being reallocated to meet the needs of the bond market. When riding in a hot air balloon (net stocks), it pays to check your supply of propane before crossing mountains and oceans. As supply increases and liquidity dries up, get ready to throw away your charts and put on your parachute.
