I can guarantee you I would never take a case like that on contingency, and if I took it on a fee basis I would demand a healthy retainer up front. And then I would check my malpractice insurance carefully. Anybody who would bring a suit like that would find some reason to turn around and sue his lawyer when he lost. And refuse to pay.

Interesting, I want to know how the judge rules.

I guess that my non-lawyer opinion is that if you are posting as an anonymous persona, you can not sue for slander or libel because you are just a persona -- not a person. Let's see what the courts decide.
