Well, if you have an idea for a film, it wouldn't be that hard to get it off the ground.... but there are a number of ways to go with it. I think you would want to make it yourself over pitching it to someone. Only reason someone pitches it is to get MORE MONEY and SOMEONE ELSES MONEY. You can make a kick a** film for next to nothing if you know HOW. Once it's done, a sales agent sells it for you at all the film markets, so you really don't have to do much of anything once it's in the can. (oh yeah...go to Cannes. You can do that if you want.)
