True, hindsight is great, but I think we're talking about 2 different beasts. The drop in SFA seems to be a momentary market reaction to a temporary change in perception. I think the QCOM/ERICY shift is bigger and much more likely to become a trend. The reason I switched from ERICY to QCOM wasn't because I knew the deal would be announced (that part was sheer luck). I switched from my core ERICY holding because I see the relative merits of QCOM being the greater of the two going forward in time (at least in the next 5 years or so, or until whatever comes after 3G telecom...).
