Good Evening Mr. Chatfield
or
I understand you work for this company ?

Are you aware that they have staged a conversation here on SI, perhaps you would care to explain that ?
Are you aware of this article, published on the thread earlier ?
#reply-8431640
Are you, in all confidence of course, aware that this man may be the Greg Writer posting on this thread ?
I am still awaiting his answer to my inquiries.
The person in that article seemed extremely unethical in regards to financial transactions involving stocks, and lied to the NASD, at least according to the NASD he did. Arrogant son of a bi**h too, can you imagine going out and doing exactly the same type of scam again and getting caught. I wonder if Idaho enjoined him. Good word eh ?, enjoined.<g>

Do you think Greg Writer is a trustful divestment advisor ? Are you of the same persuasion ?

Chatty (Jeff), the written record seems to support what John G has said.

To summarize, your NASD file shows you were employed by Brennan Ross Securities between 9/6/90 and 1/20/91:

Start Date: 09/06/1990
End Date: 01/20/1991
Positions Held:
Employing Firm: BRENNAN ROSS SECURITIES, INC.
Firm CRD Number: 18363
Office of Employment
Address: ENGLEWOOD, Colorado 80111

An article published on 2/1/91 said:

Also charged as part of the scheme were The Oxford Group Inc., Gregory D. Writer Jr., Garold N. McGaugh and Dennis E. Evanson, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; John E. Bradley and Brennan Ross Securities Inc., both of Englewood...

Unless the scheme took place prior to 9/6/90 or after 1/20/91, it does appear you were employed by Brennan Ross at the time. Do you dispute that?

Also, did you know Greg Writer at that time?

- Jeff

Chatty, one of the best indicators I have found for finding a company that deserves to be sold short is a company that will launch or threaten a lawsuit in order to silence it's critics. In my opinion, quality companies silence their critics through performance on in the arena of business, not through litigation. In my opinion, it is especially suspicious that you threaten this action over posts of easily verifiable facts. It does not speak well to your character, in my opinion. It is a fact that the truth is a complete defense.

Another great indicator (in my opinion) of a company that is a great short sell is when company officials have time to chat with investors, either by phone or on the 'net. This thread looks like the motherload.

GOOD ONE, Chatty!! Way to go!! That's telling 'em!!

Somehow this reminds me of an old SNL skit: a young woman earnestly asks a sleazy lawyer: "I'd really like to sue someone, but don't I have to have a reason?
