Allstocks.com - another site with incorrect NTOY data

Enter NTOY in the search window for the quote/News:

allstocks.com

The News is correct - the data is not. They give the 52 week range as $0.25-$468.75 which is ridiculous. The actual range is $4-$19.50 as given by BigCharts. As with other sites I have found they carry forward the data for BANH including the reverse splits - hence the ridiculous 52 week high that they give.

Does anyone other than BigCharts bother to check their data. Do they care? As long as they continue to get the advertisers - why bother?

I've e-mailed Allstocks.com to bring this error to their attention - as well as identifying this post. Let's see how quickly they take to rectify their error. Should be interesting.

Thank god we have BigCharts to access for up-to-date and correct data. They at least are on the ball.

Islander - response later - going to enjoy the sun :)

David.

Subject: NTOY is wrong at your site

Dear Allstocks.com:

The data 52 week data etc. that you provide for NTOY is wrong.

allstocks.com

The correct data is given by BigCharts: $4 - $19.50.

NTOY began trading on March 15 following a reverse merger with BANH.

You have incorrectly carried forward BANH's data - including their reverse splits - which gives rise to your 52 week high for NTOY of $468.75 and a low of $0.25 - which is ridiculous.

Does anyone bother at your site to check the data you provide?

I have made reference to these inaccuracies on SI hoping that this will enecourage you to corRect your NTOY data in a timely manner.

Sincerely,

David.

Islander - merchandise + stock data

The web site continues to develop.

netoy.com

Some items now have photographs with prices - the rest a combination of one or the other - and some just a template to be completed.

The e-commerce functionality is also there now.

Of the toy brands you made reference to from the RB post: Lego, Mattel, Playskool, TY, Hasbro - all are there except for Lego - for which there are no 'hits' upon a site search.

As to the starting line up we'll know Monday. Even though the site is still in 'beta' format it is public and not 'in house'. Any investor can copy some of the source code for the site, write down the brand name toys that are mentioned, or do screen captures - all to then serve as a record to check against the alpha site content.

I cannot see anyone being foolish enough to provide a public beta site showing well know brand name products - and then on launch day just offering 5 cent 'Made in China' crap. Making the beta site public puts the onus on the web site developer and company to make sure the content is representative and correct as it's in the public domain. If they were developing it 'in house' without public access they can do what they like. However, this beta site is in the public domain which makes the difference.

The News over the last two weeks identifies other high end brand name toys that will be listed.

The March 25 News also makes reference to the ad in The Wall St Journal that will appear on Monday.

However, this is still a new stock - just two weeks old - and is non-reporting for now. Any non-reporting stock always carries a higher risk IMO. There are other issues related to the stock that I'm following up and there are always many questions for a stock that is new (to me).

For example, one thing I'm concerned about is the erroneous 52 week trading data that I keep coming across - all of it wrong - except for BigCharts. This is a wake up call for me. How much faith can you put in some of these big name sites when they can't even get a simple thing like a 52 week range correct? Yes I know that most of these sites get their data from data providers - but doesn't anyone bother to check the data as it comes in? What is the data source provider doing with regard to their quality control? Why is it that only BigCharts can get it right?

JMHO's

David.
