Stuart: Hope you didn't misunderstand me..... I've often said that I've been waiting, personally, for cox-2 inhibitors. I've long expected them to be huge, and I'm in continuous need of aspirin plus caffeine for migraines. Moreover, I started out in pharma in the Bayer organization, and once bowed to the aspirin Gods every morning. However, I'm not certain that they will be any more effective than aspirin (or other NSAIDs) in preventing someone from getting to a point where gold particles are an option. The PR machine was damn big for Ibuprofen. Things change but stay the same in pharmaceuticals. My sense is that this is being regarded by the cognescente as a fairly "big deal".
