Uncle, I am glad that Downsouth and also J.Krnjeu have been responding to all the negatively that we see from some people that have a lot of technical knowledge but obviously no idea of investing. I am happy that these two fellows along with a few others can respond to all the negativity in computer "language".

That story from the Seattle Times that I just posted is a sign that the Judge is giving MSFT an equal opportunity--starting now. MSFT will get a chance to depose 3 witnesses instead of the 7 they requested while the government objected to the need for it. This the sign of the shift in Judge Jackson that we will be seeing, from being biased against the company to neutral and possibily in favor of MSFT. He wants the States to know that they should not take chances with court rulings. Over the next while, he is going to make it clear to the DOJ and states that they should negotiate for a reasonable solution not the BS we hear from some like New York and California state attorneys who have their hidden motives and agendas. Sooner or later the public will realize that some of the states are under intense lobbying by certain companies(MSFT competitors) conducting business in those states. The those states are going to look bad and considered to be the ones holding up a reasonable settlement. Like I said before, look for rifts to develop among the states; and certains states and the DOJ. My solution would be to give the DOJ the authority to settle on their behalf for fairness.
