OT - OT - OT:

hookjock,

Thankfully you did not use a basketball analogy and compare them to the L.A. Clippers

LOL... Woe to any company that consciously or not adapts a business paradigm analagous to that of the L. A. Clippers. Uninterested ownership, incompetent management, subpar facilities and constantly in the shadow of one of its industry's luminaries. Oh and let's not forget the poor hiring decisions... Olowakandi over Bibby - oh my. (Though I imagine Bibby told them he'd never play for them, especially not sharing his father's home court.)

hookjock,

I also welcome all opinions, even those I disagree with. I enjoy the discussion. I came on a little strong since I didn't see a reasonable basis for saying, "nothing new".

I think clearly Ed has the vision. Certainly this is a speculative situation. I don't agree funding is limited for these reasons; 64 million in cash at the end of the 4th quarter...clearly even after these acquisitions there is plenty left financing the development plans for each. I realize there is debt of 44 million, but debt is not inherently evil in and of itself. It is a tremendous tool for building equity when properly employed...Royalty business generates 10 million a year in income....core business are modest growers but have a high return on assets..

I think the strategy of running ahead and establishing internet tv networks with intelligent business models for profitability is the way to go. Thankly we will no longer wait for broadcasters and governments to decide what the hell they are going to do, but will attack a truly global market that is growing like a weed.....
