hdl, would you please translate your post? Are you accusing me specifically of being "fat, dumb, happy and dishonest", or just attacking anyone with a positive attitude in general? If you didn't use big words like "analagously", perhaps I could understand the insults you are trying to make.

Frank

hdl...re:dell...vars

there may be a consideration for dell to sell thru "unfranchised" vars that has not been presented...most look at vars as the retail sales channel...in many instances the federal government and large corporations require that under a certain dollar amount, a purchase must be made thru a small business, to satisfy sba reporting requirements...cost on these small(in goverment instance, under 50k) purchase order or credit card transactions less important than sba provisions...it happens every day...whether the product is gsa schedule or not...the direct sellers do not mind the indirect sales channel...they are still direct selling...but not to the end user...as long as they get paid...any comments?

best regards, ed a.

p.s..as far as sales tax any corporate entity (goverment excluded) is responsible under a direct pay permit for sales tax to the state they are located in for any product purchased for other than resale...it's the law
