$268 relates better to the futures price on those charts back then.. There's a lot of pessimism about gold (see GPM thread) and this has been fueled by remarks from politicians advocating IMF sales (bless em) and by gold's failure to rally during this Kosevo business. Maybe, the naysayers are missing the possibility that gold has discounted the IMF sales, or will soon. When the last IMF and Treasury sales took place they were heavily oversubscribed. The threat of sales is the worst part. dd
