<<Hi Richard:
I am curious where you arrived at their amount.
I am just hoping that GATA will draw attention to all the government intervention that has been taking place along and how certain financial trash take advantage of it ...I don't think the governments
are in cohorts with the trash..it just makes it easier for the trash..>>
well, the figure came through 28 pages of paper (and around a 12 pack of cheap beer) but at bottom line, we backtracked to POG $330 US, added up all the unpaid dividends+ bankrupticies + lower than correct takeover prices(in some cases)+ penalities for late payments. did not include any "pain & suffering".

About the governments not being in coharts with the trash, maybe not the wole of the "governments", but some members of some governments were! Remember, There was an Italian minister asked to step down after LTCM news went public, as was a Swiss govt official.
