SAF:

This is exactly what I've found in the field and also what I've posted right here on the MB thread for many moons. It's also what MB, and a few others have been saying.

I think I'm going to start a polling/consulting company. (G)

Best, Earlie

SAF that was an interesting survey and it supports what many on this thread have suspected.

...The results of our SMB survey suggest that our estimates may still prove to be too aggressive.

[CPQ] Quarterly Earnings Per Share (fiscal year ends December)
1998A 1999E 2000E
1Q $0.01 $0.34
2Q 0.02 0.41
3Q 0.07 0.48
4Q 0.39 0.61
Year $0.48 $1.85

I would agree that their estimates are optimistic if not downright hilarious.

Steve, Lowering growth projections on unit pc purchases for small businesses from 17% to 5%! Whoa, nellie. That's a drop. And that definitely means negative revenue growth. Again!
