william, I had thought of that, but decided it would be more likely that reliable data would be available for the early '70s. I'd also hold out for the back testing before passing judgement, because it may have been a viable strategy. Yes, I doubt it, it's more likely that it's hindsight investing. I've often looked at a chart and thought how I should have bought at the low and sold at the high. It's unfair that those moves aren't as obvious when you're there in real time. Barb
