also Datek or DLJdirect asked for the SSN on the online register form. What risks do you consider upon surrendering the SSN?

I've signed up tradescape, but the applet gives me the error message:

"Applet level2 can't start: error java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:java.awt.component:methodSetSize(II)V not found" on a Netscape browser.

Yes Kimberly, thanks for mentioning that, I meant to and forgot... I do not like to give out my SS# unless absolutely necessary, and did not give it to that site...

I filled out the form without it, and submitted, it came back "Must fill in all fields" or some message like that... so I put in "na" in the SS blank and it accepted my submission...
