Just a thought - AOL will split again this year so any shares you bought at high of 130 this year will be only $65.00 a share after split.

Now does anyone think that after only one split the rest of the year (there may be two) that AOL will be a $65.00 stock by Dec 31, 1999.

My opinion, buy your AOL shares now pre split, earnings et al... and stash them away.

Had you ever heard of a company named Iridium? They are putting a ring of satellites around the earth that will allow wireless to anywhere on the earth. This is how the 3rd world countries will be connected to the telecommunications network in a few short years. It will eliminate the need to lay cable and greatly reduce the cost of a teleco going into these underdeveloped countries.

If AOL had a wireless company, it would allow them access to the rest of the worlds population.
