(CCR), stock symbol "CRL" on the Alberta Stock Exchange, is pleased to announce today, both its 4th Quarter 1998 and full year 1998, financial results. 1998 was an excellent year for Canadian Chemical Reclaiming Ltd. (CCR) with record revenues, cash flows and profits! Highlights: - Total Revenues in 1998 increased by 168 percent over 1997 to a record $7,966,899 - Income from operations in 1998 was a record $4,065,248 (compared to a loss of $942,771 in 1997) - Utilization of Mobile reclaimers increased dramatically in 1998 - Net Income after taxes in 1998 was a record $2,804,790 (compared to a loss of $1,007,264 in 1997) - Corresponding Earnings Per Share were 13.0 cents (compared to a loss of 5.7 cents per share in 1997) CCR is improving its existing technologies through the development of Unit #3 and new patent applications are pending. In addition, CCR is working on developing new complementary technologies. The current strategy is to implement lasting and profitable growth, primarily based on our core service business which is chemical processing and licensing of our technologies on specific projects. 4TH QUARTER 1998 RESULTS Revenues in the 4th Quarter of 1998 were $2,060,000 which is a 216 percent increase over the same period in 1997. Income for the 4th Quarter of 1998 before income taxes was $1,077,000 ($841,000 after income tax provision) compared to a loss of $667,000 in the same period of 1997. Earnings per common share were 3.9 cents for the 4th Quarter.
