Pardon me gents. Back again.

You know, I look at that map of the discovery and I can't help but think how much it looks like the Quirke Lake area of Elliot Lake in the early days when Denison staked up the uranium deposit. Average thickness of that seam was about 13' if I'm not mistaken and the dip was a little steeper at about 20 degrees. I agree Walt, mining under a lake is not a big deal, particularily if there is granite above. I'd leave 50-100 metres of rock between me and the lake bottom though.

And the comment about the Canadian Mining Industry missing out. Ouch. That's me you are talking about. We've been so caught up chasing things overseas that we can't seem to mobilize in Canada anymore. Also, most companies specifically look for certain commodities and have no interest in anything else to our detriment.

Well, I think I'll do some DD finally on this one. I got to confess, I usually don't touch anything on the VSE. It's usually a wallet lightening experience.

As an underground mining engineer with 20 years of this sort of stuff feel free to shoot me any questions. I may not be timely on my response but the questions will get answered in due time.
