First, too soon to tell since such details have not been announced yet. Besides, I hear Q takes care of their people real well and I doubt they will "screw" anyone out of their options. Didn't Dr J. say there would be a "charge" related to the sale of the division? I'll bet this "charge" is related to employee compensation in some ways.

Second, I have never worked at a company where many people "vest" at the same time. Options are usually related to when you were hired and how long they run etc. Real coincidence that everyone would vest at the same time huh??

So my general answer to this post is...
