Michael, I neither agree nor disagree with you. But I'd like to know how you came to the conclusion that "...Datek started to scalp against their own customers...". I'm not sure how to read the data the links to come up with your conclusion. Please explain.

Have watched the first and second link.

Personally, I am not "embarrassed" by the datk volume. It seems that if they clear "inhouse" they trade the "unfilled" shares out on the nasdaq. However, the shown quantities for datk are small, compared with either the whole market or island turnover for an issue.
