Another take on the Channel. FWIW

It is possible that due to the fact that CPQ started with the channel rather than direct, that any transition would involve more anger in the channel. Since Dell is primarily direct at this time, moving to the channel on their (var's) request would put Dell in the drivers seat regarding costs and profits. Am I missing something else?

Ahh. That's a good perspective I have not yet applied to the markets. Thank you for that. Until now, I have always used the PEG ratio for individual securities, but did not think quickly enough to compare it with the market's for a relative valuation.
