Lynn, you are bang on. The guy hasn't made

any money or he is trying to cheat on his taxes. Else he would know.

You can make more money with your @$$ than with your broker.

Sit on it. It's in good hands with Scott.

Lynn, history repeats itself and the rules are quite clear buy low sell high. Have not heard the saying of buy low hold forever <GGG>.

Have you ever considered to read the Bible to get some insights into human behaviour?? Remember the 7 fat years in Egypt? and the advise given for the next 7 years??

DEC, CPQ and many other were darlings of WS were are they now?? Holding for the long term has not proven itself.

Buying DEC at 60 in 1986 and selling DEC at $170, in 1987 then buying CPQ and then selling CPQ at $55 (presplit)and buying SUNW at $20 in 1995 would give how much of a return for today??

And all this after being proud of paying taxes and contributing to the prosperity of the US.

SUNW had a lot of value around $40 last year and I was long at the time. Regardless of my admiration for Java or McNealy for many years, SUNW is already priced for success as a software company at 50 trailing P/E. Shortfall in server profit growth may be complimented by software profits.

It is nothing wrong and actually recommended to take profits. As to paying income taxes remember it is to the benefit of all to have a shrinking budget deficit.

The smart people will use the proceeds from selling SUNW to find other growth opportunity which will more than double in the next year.

Those less talented or gifted will hold on to their "LUCKY" stocks that had a tremendous rise due to the fact that they do not have the required qualities to identify new promising opportunities.

That is why J6P is a "long term investor" and therefore there are not a lot of rich J6P <GGGG>. As to W. Buffet it was reported this weekend that he just lost $1 billion in Germany by holding for to long <GGG>

Best of luck and read this
