You're always the pessimist around here. We need some pessimists and some shorts to balance our enthusiasm. In answer to your question, I think the price before the offer was just an indication of how seriously undervalued VLSI had become. The offer woke up everyone to the true value of the stock. I believe the final offer will be $25 and I put my money where my mouth was on that matter. I'll only make money on my leaps if the stock goes for 22 or over.
