Steve is my hero, ("Crocodile Hunter" on Animal Planet) and his wife is pretty neat also. The very idea of walking through the bush with short pants drives me wild. Even in Georgia where we only had to worry about the Southern Diamondback, the Timber Rattler, Cottonmouth and Copperheads (we had to sweep them out of the messhall at Stones Bay, Camp Lejeune, N.C. every morning -- a push broom is required) -- boots were de rigeur. When Steve tackles his beloved salt water crocodiles, you see a brave, strong man in action and a strong, brave supportive wife (whom, as an American, may be too sane to initiate anything like this). He really loves and understands those critters. A lovely couple and a great show.
