The Dallas Morning News had an article that said that some congressmen are trying to end the Iraqi oil for food program. Of course Texas congressmen have a reason to want to do this. But they make the point that Iraq should not be allowed to put American oil workers out of work, especially since we are bombing them. It also points out that if the Iraqi people start feeling real pain from Iraq having no exports, they may be more determined to overthrow the government. At any rate, it was interesting to read, we will see if anything comes of it.
