Like most Eastern block nations at 18 you are conscripted to serve a minimum two year military stint, however unlike other nations this conscription is taken very seriously, and Serbia/Yugoslavia unlike the Poland's, the Slovakia's, etc.(communist Eastern block countries) has a relatively prosperous/westernized like economy that can and has fed the military machine. Plus they've been fighting for the past ten years, they've got a little experience. Lastly, they have a long military heritage, i.e. who do you think thwarted off the Germans in Balkans during WW2, it was the Serbian Partisans. I don't think they plan on overtaking the Planet or anything but things change/they escalate....you remember that like misunderstanding called WW1. <<And what evidence do you have that Milosovic is stupid?>> I beat him at a game of Trivial Pursuit, and he didn't even know that there are "13 in a baker's dozen"....LOL! <<Serbia is no more threat to Europe than Vietnam was to Asia. The domino theory got us into Vietnam, it's gotten us into Serbia, and as a theoretical basis of foreign policy it is simply wrong.>> Funny that's what people were saying in 1937-1939 after Hitler carved out a piece of Czechoslovakia and marched his troops through the streets of Austria. (P.S. that was before WW2) "Greater Serbia" have you heard about it, it takes up a little bit of Albania, all of Bosnia, and part of Croatia. Jeesh...You should run for British Parliament. You sound just like Neville Chamberlain... I agree with Clinton and NATO. Go in and go in hard. Smoke the barbaric little prick where it hurts.
