I can now comment on that particular part of the East Coast Oil play. Pm for Details on why I can if you like - A junior in a jv in the offshore - I would be very very surprised only because of the amount of money involved in a program. Unless they do a $10MM on shore program to an offshore target thru 2.5KM of Granite we are talking about lots of money - Rigs run 100-500k per day.

Why would a biggie jv a property off to a Junior??? CDH is the only junior I am aware of with anything off shore to speak of and they jv'd it to shell to drill because they simply would not have the coin. also there are some more "land sales" coming up for offshore licences but they are pricey and will go to the Big boys with the big pockets - They OSPBs would not even award a license to a junior even if it had the best bid as they also evaluate the ability to meet the commitment.

Sorry about the typos.

In short - If they pull it off great - They must have some folks owed some favors. Chevron has an absolute ton of property - I have the map in front of me
