Visual Data Corporation Introduces 'Video-on-Demand' Network for The
Internet Related Items

March 24, 1999 -- Visual Data Corporation, a leading provider of
original online video and audio content, today unveiled a
first-of-its-kind, interactive video-on-demand network for high-speed
Internet users. VideoViewer.com (http://www.videoviewer.com) is a
self-contained online network designed to offer a wide range of video
programming on subjects including hotels and resorts, healthcare and
medicine, corporate and financial information and entertainment (see
video at videonewswire.com.

The beta site, which is built on Visual Data's various libraries of
video and multimedia content, is designed for users with broadband or
high-speed Internet access, which is expected to become more widely
available in 1999. Randy Selman, president and CEO of Visual Data, said, "VideoViewer.com is in the initial stages of bringing a wide range of interesting and original online content to users who have broadband or high-speed Internet access. While users today can get travel, healthcare and business information, we believe the site will grow to feature channels on many other subjects."

"Visual Data will make branded versions of VideoViewer.com available for portals and broadband service providers, who we believe will understand the value of the viewer," said Selman. "For broadband service providers, VideoViewer.com will expand their marketing reach and competitiveness with a unique video-on-demand network. Portals will be able to integrate VideoViewer.com into their site and brand it to meet their needs."

VideoViewer.com currently offers original video content under six
categories, including Travel, Health/Medicine, Consumer, Business,
Technology and Entertainment. Through these categories, users will be
able to:

-- Take guided tours of hotels, resorts and attractions

-- Research healthcare information and medical issues

-- Look for video news releases, video business information and live
audio and video events

The number of channels on the site will increase through Visual Data's
growing video and multimedia libraries as well as agreements with
original content providers, who will be given their own channel on
VideoViewer.com.

To access VideoViewer.com, users must have broadband or high-speed
access services such as T1 lines, xDSL (digital subscriber line) lines, cable modems or ISDN lines.

"For businesses and consumers, VideoViewer.com will give them access to the programming they want when they want it," added Selman. "Bringing all of this information together into a single destination makes it easy for Web surfers to find what they need, without the hassle of searching all over the Internet."
