On CNBC, Friday, they said it would be added to the S/P 100. I can't remember which company was being dropped.

Regards,

AMP is being acquired by Tyco International Ltd., another S&P 500 company.

Other changes to be made after the close of the markets April 1 include: Lucent Technologies Inc. will replace AMP in the S&P 100 Index; Mohawk Industries Inc. , an S&P SmallCap 600 component, will replace Kansas City Southern in the S&P MidCap 400 Index; Silicon Valley Group Inc. will replace Mohawk Industries in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index; MedImmune Inc. , an S&P SmallCap 600 component, will replace Varian Associates Inc. in the S&P MidCap 400 Index.
