that's exactly what i was thinking...a stealth in their hands. we need to shoot missles at our own downed stealth.

Stelth technology. Not to worry. The entire concept of the stealth
fighters/bombers was built upon a theoretical paper authored by a Russian. Its not that the Russians do not know how to construct such an aircraft, they do not have the means of incorporating avionics and
computer control to make the damn thing fly. In this respect they
gain nothing by obtaining the wreckage of a downed aircraft(unless
they obtain the control system intact; unlikely).

Contrast this with the PRC spy system which infiltrated Los Alamos
and learned how to construct MIRV's... giving them a 25 year leap
in the technological knowledge of how to deliver nuclear warheads.
Of course the 'news' of this minor change in the balance of power
in the world has been successfully drowned out by the current events
now taking place in the former state of Yugoslavia.
