VLAD - it is a pity so much education goes wasted due to lack of cognition. Good luck, Jacalyn

If you blame it on Clinton then you are seriously out of touch!

If you believe that this would have happened if Clinton hadn't pushed it and insisted on it, YOU are seriously out of touch. This is Bill Clinton's war all the way. He didn't even get U.N. approval, as Bush did in Iraq.

VLAD:

re >>you have absolutely no understanding of the fact that this is a NATO operation. If you blame it on Clinton then you are seriously out of touch!<<

The Europeans, with the notable exception of the Brits, have been spineless wimps since the end of wwii. Nato did not direct the U.S., the U.S. directed Nato. Without Bill leading the charge the Eurowimps would have stayed on the sidelines just like the last fifteen or twenty opportunities, including the tragedy in Bosnia.

I have no sympathy for the Serbs that are doing the murdering. I hope they get what is coming to them, but Clinton is dead assed wrong on this one. Our dog wasn't in that fight.

This increases international tensions greatly. Two weeks before this started Hungary, The Czech Republic and Poland entered Nato much to the consternation of the Russians. But we assured them that Nato is and always will be a defensive organization that will only attack a country if it attacks a member country. Hell, Yugoslavia wasn't threatening any country let alone a Nato member country. The Russians would be correct to mistrust Nato from this point forward and this reduces our security rather than enhance it.

The last time Billary bombed was during the impeachment process at a critical juncture. The Kosovo operation came just two days before the Senate intelligence committee was supposed to release their finding on Chinese espionage at nuclear institutions. I guess one of his largest political contributors is getting their payback. BTW I didn't see anything on the committees report. I guess wag the dog worked great.

Your theory on the Saudis putting pressure on to do something to help fellow moslems is mildly interesting except for one point. They just helped opec agree to production cuts that have raised oil prices. They aren't owed any favors. I believe it is you that does not understand how things work.
