Country Boy!

Isn't he the "rural rat" that started the thread on SEVL?
Now he's ashamed to post there? I'm just guessing..
Read my latest "attempts" to keep that board alive. Puke!
Pitiful to say the least ...
And tell Country Boy to get his butt back over there. <g>

Thanks in advance snackman,
Marty

Snackman,

I've always been a closet RBer and you're right, today was a banner day. On the broadband front (ZakSat and Fantastic), I think these relationships are on the back burner for now. In previous e-mail exchanges with the folks at Wave, this was the impression I got. The PC is the #1 priority.

Besides, management is spread thin enough, and with the additional emphasis on the security aspects of the meter, there can't possibly be enough time in the day to work all these deals: They're not magicians and QUALITY is better than QUANTITY in this case. So, I'm not getting my hopes up too high for anything other than the PC this year. Besides, a planned, gradual rollout will give Wave time to ramp up the infrastructure necessary to support the installed base. Alluding to a prior post of mine, the last thing we want is having *too* many meters out there and busy signals when the customer service calls start flowing.

Pass along an atta boy to DooWopGuy for me.

Snackman--I agree completely. I spent most of the afternoon pouring over the RB WAVX posts today, and don't remember a bunch that were any better. The next several months are going to be very exciting, without a doubt...
