You sound like somebody who might know. Is Denwins guess correct?

As I said, the intraday doesn't provide evidence for huge selling at 1/2, so I believe you are correct that there was a guess about Commonwealth. I do think some people who have held the stock for a long time at prices like 3/8 and 7/16 and 1/2 did take the opportunity to get out at break-even or slight profit. That's always bound to happen when a stock has been depressed and stockholders have been disappointed. They get soured on the stock and are happy to get out with their original investment intact. Or, they bought like Malcolm, looking for a trade. If he bought at 1/4 and sold at 1/2 he had a nice double and left happy.
