Sir Francis,

Thank you, sir, for the kind words. I agree with your feeling that backup quotes are important for a daytrader, especially if one is trading extremely volatile, fast moving stocks.

I presently use myTrack quotes in association with the AIQ charting program for backup, using a separate computer, modem, and high speed data line. I also have Fidelity Investments Fox Plus software (which I highly recommend) and a modest account with Datek that I use for trading (shorting) certain stocks. All these sources makes for the necessary quote redundancy.

Other than myTrack, which is pretty good, I have previously used AT-Financial for backup quotes, and I high recommend their service. Others available are DBCC's Signal Online, S&P Comstock, BMI, and PCQuote. I have not used any of these in over a year, as I have found CyBerTrader and myTrack together to be adequate for my humble trading needs.

By the way, you were right about MSFT. Quite nice performance lately. My congratulations! :-}

Bill
