Yes, Sir Francis, a modest chuck of Mr. Gates' company in my wife's IRA. She thanks you for the timeliness in your recent call. :-}

I have a technical note that may be of interest to CyBer users. Recently, I upgraded my primary PC by installing, among other things, two faster video cards. I use two large monitors and Windows 98. Well, immediately after the upgrade, I noticed major problems running CyBerTrader. Specifically, the prints shown in the TOS section of my Level II windows are were totally whacky. Each price/print showed maybe 20-30 times, it was crazy, unstable, unusable. I tried everything and thought something was wrong with CyBerTrader's data.

However, I found that my "new" video boards were the problem. I had upgraded from two Diamond Stealth 64-bit cards with 4 MB memory to two Diamond Viper 128-bit cards with 16 MB memory each, which I felt I needed to properly run two 21-inch monitors. However, I could not clear up the problem with CyBerTrader until I went into Windows Control Panel/Display and changed the video acceleration settings, reduced from max (4) to two. At full acceleration, I had the problem. At reduced video acceleration, I experienced no problem. Anyone experiencing any CT problems after replacing a video card should suspect the new display settings before looking farther.
