Good morning everyone. I have two questions and looking for some help again. My son loaded win 98 from win 95 and also changed a 33 modem to a 56 modem. Question number 1, when I had win 95, when someone tried calling me, my line would ring say seven or eight times and then my PC would kick off and I could receive the call. Now since I went to win 98 no one can get in. I believe its the win 98 problem because I had the same problem before I changed the moden. Question number 2, when I had a 33 modem , I could get 24,000 bps. Now that I have a 3 Com 56 Sportster internal modem I only get 19,800 or 16,800 bps.
Thanks in advance
Gary
